How We Get Paid

We do not charge you any fees for our services. When we introduce you to a credit provider, we typically receive a commission from them, either as a fixed fee or a percentage of the amount you borrow. This commission is paid by the provider and does not affect the amount you pay under the finance agreement. The commission may vary depending on the provider and the specific car finance product you choose.


Credit Searches Explained

When you apply for car finance with Prestige Car Finance, we first run a ‘soft search’ on your credit history. This search will not affect your credit score or leave a mark on your report. It simply helps us understand how you manage loans and repayments.

If we propose your application to multiple lenders, we may run hard searches, which do leave a mark on your credit file. Multiple hard searches in a short period can impact your credit score. As a car finance broker, we typically send your application to two providers, but this can vary depending on your circumstances.

Distance Sale Regulations: Click & Collect vs. Home Delivery

As part of distance selling, Prestige Car Finance offers two options: click & collect, where you purchase the vehicle and then pick it up from the retailer, or home delivery, where we deliver the vehicle to you. In both cases, the purchase must occur away from the retail premises, in line with current restrictions in England. Buyers are entitled to a 14-day return period from when they take ownership of the vehicle. This is a legal requirement that we explain during the buying process.
